What can you drop off

• Municipal Solid Waste: Domestic, putrescible waste, household garbage and trash derived from single and multi-family residences, hotels and motels, campgrounds, and picnic grounds. This also includes residential waste, commercial trash and waste and junk.

• Construction and demolition (C&D) Waste:  Waste from construction, remodeling, repair and demolition of structures and from road building. Examples include bricks, concrete and other masonry materials, soil, rock and lumber, road spoils, and paving material.

• Industrial Wastes: Solid waste produced in, or generated by, industrial manufacturing processes.

​

• Bulky waste: such as ovens, stoves and even refrigerators and air-conditioning units if the compressors have been properly removed prior to disposal.

• Landscaping and Land Clearing Wastes: Trees, stumps, brush, dirt, branches, leaves, grass clippings from landscaping and land clearing activities.

• Special Wastes: Solid wastes that are either difficult or dangerous to manage and may include sludges, bulky wastes, pesticide wastes, medical wastes, industrial wastes and friable asbestos wastes approved and manifested through the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC).
